4. CD turntable/CD players CD turntables…. Have Advanced functions like cue points and loops Tracks can’t ‘skip’. IF CD does skip its probably damaged No moving platter A lot of models support mp3 CD’s Recent models support usb/flash drives

5. DJ Mixer A Dj Mixer….. Is needed if you’re going to DJ with CD players and/or turntables Available with 2,3,4,5 or 6 channels Special scratch mixers for turntablism Some mixers have extra functions like effects or samplers

6. Timecode Dj hardware/software All music is stored on your laptop You control all the music with your turntables or cd players(using special timecode vinyl cd’s) Cue point and loop functions in the software Timecode on vinyl can’t ‘skip’

Conclusion In conclusion I think the Midi Dj controller would be more suitable for me because its easier to use as a Dj cause it comes with everything you need in a single unit and it’s better for travelling around to different events. I’m aware that the controller is not made for turntablism and I wouldn’t mind not being able to do that.
