Letters and Sounds At the end of each week the children will come home with a set of sound cards we have been working on. Along side this there will be tricky words to practice. This will all be at your individual child's pace and tailored towards them.
15
Reading The children will begin bringing home picture story books to use their imagination and observation skills to create stories. Once they are able to segment and blend sounds they will move onto simple word books.

My Home School Learning Journey The home school learning journeys are a fantastic keepsake that links together a child's experience in school and at home. Each week your child will add something we have been thinking about in school and might like to carry on at home. This will be individual to your child's learning. There is also opportunity for you to add information, pictures, leaflets etc of things your child does at home or during any school holiday. Our aim is to build a strong connection between home and school experiences. 07/03/201626
