3 bicuspid (n) A two pointed tooth located on the side of the jaw. Example: I had to get one of my bicuspids removed because the cavity was causing me great pain.

4 biped (n) A two-footed creature. Example: A kangaroo is classified as a biped because it hops on two feet.

5 bicentennial (n) Occurring after 200 years. Example: To celebrate the bicentennial of our school, we decided to plan an extravagant dance.

6 bifocal (adj) Having two planes of view. My grandfather uses bifocal glasses to allow him to see objects in the distance and up close.

7 bilingual (adj) Speaking two languages. Example: The new student was bilingual because she could speak both English and Spanish.

8 duplicity (n) Double-dealing; tricky, fraud. Example: Two hundred years of duplicity has left the country in complete shambles.

9 duet (n) A two person performance. Example: In the movie Grease, my favorite duet is between John Travolta and Olivia Newton John when they sing You’re the One that I Want.

10 duel (n) Combat between two people or armies. Example: At Medieval Times, Scott’s favorite moment is when there is a duel between the red knight and the green knight.

11 engage (v) If you engage in something, you participate in it. If you engage someone else, you keep him or her interested in it. When you engage in a discussion, you talk and listen to others in a group.

12 interact (v) If you interact with someone, your actions affect each other. Devin and Yailin interact through Facetime every night.
