Define systems of governments based on participation 1. Two basic forms – democracy (responsible to the will of the people) and dictatorship (authoritarian in a single person or small group) 5.3.12.K - Evaluate the strength and weaknesses of various systems of government

Describe a government by power distribution between the legislative and executive branches. 1. Parliamentary – voters elect a legislature and a chief executive is drawn from that group 2.
