2. History of Halloween Halloween is an international holiday celebrated on October 31. Irish immigrants brought versions of traditions of it here in the 19 th century. On Halloween children usually go trick-or- treating. People have parties, ghost tours, haunted hay rides, and carved jack-o’-lanterns.

3. Halloween Traditions Children go trick-or-treating. People have haunted hay rides. There are parties and costume contests. Everyone gets to decorate and dress up it’s a fun time of year.

4. Costumes Everyone usually dresses up for Halloween. There is a wide range form ladybugs to blood thirsty vampires and even fairies. You can even make homemade costumes. It’s no age limit to how old you can be to dress up for Halloween.

5. Homemade Treats for Halloween There are lots of different kinds of candies and treats for Halloween. So here’s some ideas for homemade ones: Make cupcakes with eyeballs in them for parties. Ginger bread skeletons, chocolate covered witch hats, and vampire cookies

6. Decorations for Halloween You can have lots of decorations for Halloween. You can put up: Ghosts, dead people, witches, black cats, skeletons, mummies, and many many more just to name a few.
