14 WHAT IS RESTORATIVE JUSTICE AND HOW CAN IT MAKE OUR SCHOOL CLIMATE BETTER? A means of focusing on repairing the harm done to people and relationships rather than just punishing offenders. Classroom Circles as a means of creating a positive and supportive classroom community. Fair Process as a Social Discipline Window  Students, teachers, and staff are happier and more likely to make positive changes when those in authority do things with them, rather that to them or for them.

24 SCHOOL FACILITY UPDATES: Cranes dropping AC Units onto Roofs Starting at 3:00 You MUST call in and out to School Poice when entering school after school hours AND custodian on site must be made aware. School Police: 619-291-7678 Labor Day Weekend Work on Campus: This weekend you may enter campus between 7 and 3:00. All staff must be off campus by 3:00. Secure your room and call out to school police. Leo Chavez Phone: 619-479-9660 Throw away all food outside the class. No pesticides. Contact Leo Chairs up every night Have students help with the cleaning

25 SAFETY REMINDERS Repost Your Emergency Information near your door (Not on your door). Teach Your students about “Lock Blocks”. Why we have them and how to use them. Classrooms on outside of Building: Teach children secondary retreat rooms. Remind Students to go to Advisory Classes if Lock Down occurs during passing or lunch time. Bring Red Back Packs with student rosters and supplies along with cell phone and orange jackets to evacuation drills
