3. Purpose BHAVITREAT DMF 10501 is a very effective de foamer and paper stock de aerator. It is very persistent, therefore one addition point normally gives good foam control throughout the system. It assists in the clean running of the paper machine since it helps disperse soil flotation, and it does not contribute to pitch accumulation. BHAVITREAT DMF 10501 does not affect sizing or paper strength when used at normal addition levels. BHAVITREAT DMF 10501 being a fluid water based emulsion is easy to use. Application : BHAVITREAT DMF 10501 is usually added as received via a specially designed air pump. The optimum quantity and points of addition are determined by trial. Typically, 300 ml per tonne of paper, added to the wire pit usually works very well.
