7 Review - MONDAY Literary Tone - Author’s attitude towards a topic. Topic Horses Figurative language – simile Horses are like dreams, they are better when they come true Tone Adoring – Dreams, better, come true

8 Page 3 1.Finish parts A and B 2.Choose 1 simile and determine what tone (attitude) you expressed towards the topic. Then write down the word(s) that express this tone. – Write the number and tone at the bottom of the page 3.I will stamp page 3 after you’ve finished Example 3. 10 Heart Denotation A muscular organ located just behind and slightly left of the breastbone. It pumps blood through the network of arteries and veins called the cardiovascular system. Connotation Like very much; Love; romance
