GUCS (Groupe d’Utilisateurs Catia-Smarteam) In close collaboration with hierarchical units and CAD support, and with priority on professional CAD users : Collect, validate and prioritize Catia-SmarTeam user needs Establish and supervise working groups to: Formulate user requirements (functionalities of tools, life-cycle rules, training content, etc.) Establish rules and recommendations for CERN CATIA-SmarTeam use (methodologies, best practices) to be endorsed by CAEC Assure quality of content in centralized material and component catalogues in Catia-SmarTeam. Organize users’ info forums and information channels (web pages, email-lists) Report to CAEC (Agenda, minutes) GUCS was established in June 2009. 7. CAD data Navigator (CDN) tests CDN will allow to navigate and view SmarTeam data via the EDMS portal. It provides a read only view of the data that has been published from ST.
