2. Types of Sentences
Declarative Sentence: Expresses a statement and ends with a period.
Example: The school year starts in August.
Interrogative Sentence: Asks a question and ends in a question mark.
Example: Have you purchased a lock for your locker yet?

3. Types of Sentences
Imperative Sentence: Tells or asks someone to do something and ends in a period or exclamation point.
Example: Bring your supplies to class every day.
Exclamatory Sentence: Shows strong feeling and always ends with an exclamation point.
Example: I love Language Arts!
