4 Summary of last class We had a standard opening. We completed our observations and data collection on the Salt Crystal lab.
4
5 Write your answer to last class’s Essential Question: Describe the salt crystals you observed.
5
Topic/Objective:Name: Crystal model construction Class/Period: Date: Oct 8 Essential Question: How is a crystal model representative of a crystal?

Homework Measuring Lab write up due Tuesday. Construct the crystal model due Wednesday.
24
Today’s Work Construct Crystal Model
26
Instructions 1. On one facet, put your name, period, date. 2. On a second facet, write the name of the crystal 3. Lightly color all facets of the crystal
27
3. On a third facet, draw 3 3. 4. On a third facet, draw 4 rows of 10 columns of molecules, showing how crystals are formed from repeating patterns of molecules.
28
5. Cut out the model on the SOLID lines. 6. Fold on the dotted lines. Make sure your written material is exterior so it can be seen. 7. Glue or tape tabs making the model self standing. 8. Turn in completed by Wednesday.
