Don’t be wasteful- Use up all parts of an animal which is killed for food. Example: In the Arctic, natives hunted and depended on the seal for food. However, seal skin provided boots, bags, kayaks, igloo linings, and clothing. Seal oil was used for heating, cooking, and light.

Affirming that with increased knowledge and power comes increased responsibility for the common good. 3.) Ensuring the participation of all in society and the respect for human rights. 4.) Taking care to protect the beauty and bounty of the Earth for future generations.

Exercising precaution, discerning the potential impact of our actions to ensure that they will not be harmful. 3.) Adopting lifestyles that emphasize quality of life while minimizing consumption. 4.) Recognizing and preserving the traditional ecological knowledge and spiritual wisdom of all cultures.
