Used to show how a trait is passed from one generation to the next = Does not express the trait (unaffected) = Expresses the trait (affected) = Carrier of the trait (unaffected, carrier) = Male= Female

Pedigree charts support or refute predictions. YOUR TASK: 1.Prepare a Punnett Square and state the probability of offspring phenotypes for each child based on the pedigree below. 2. Compare (in a sentence!) the actual phenotypes with the predictions.

Pedigree Story In your group, write a story that can be illustrated with a pedigree. (~10 minutes) DRAW the pedigree first! (to be used as a key) Include: 3 generations, 5 relations, names! Trade with another group and draw a pedigree based on their story.
