Objective: Hold a marketing and membership recruitment event with multiple corporations in a focused period of time in locations throughout the state with the assistance of IAAP HQ and Division personnel. Goal: To assist chapters in acquiring new members. 1.Chicago will be target area for recruitment in 2011-2012 2.Target area chapters will be contacted to provide 2-3 large employers by December 2011. 3.Event will occur before May 2012.

The mission of the Research and Educational Foundation (R&E) is to advance the careers of administrative professionals through research and education initiatives that enhance their professional development. New Strategic Goals to support the mission: Conduct, sponsor or promote targeted educational programs that meet the needs of the profession, align with strategic priorities and communicate core values Support scholarships for IAAP educational conferences and IAAP certification programs Conduct content validity studies for the CPS and CAP exams Participate in co-branded research studies germane to the profession Publish and promote educational materials
