Formation of Subcommittees 17 members signed up at last HGCCC meeting After email and phone communications, all members signed up one or more subcommittees Sign up results the following: – Outreach = 7 – Business = 2 – Education = 3 – Government = 15 – Media = 5 Initial Subcommittees

Formation of Subcommittees Based on recommendations from the Committee staff, several subcommittees with only a few members were combined. The result was the following three HGCCC subcommittees : Business and Outreach Subcommittee: 9 members Government Subcommittee: 14 members Media and Education Subcommittee: 7 members Combined Subcommittees

Subcommittee Meeting Agenda ■ Elect a chairperson and a secretary ■ Elected chairperson should moderate a discussion immediately after elected ■ Formulate a list of potential activities and target dates ■ Identify your target population(s) ■ Compile a list of possible promotional items for that target population Presentation by the chairperson at the HGCCC
