MISR orbits the earth 15 times/day. Orbit numbers indicate the number of revolutions since launch. 233 distinct orbit paths repeated every 16 days. Each of these 16 days is referred to as a Data Day. The 233 repeating orbits are called paths. Each path is divided into 180 blocks. Paths overlap allowing near global coverage in 9 days. MISR Terminology
