Layaway Management A step-by-step guide to managing your LTA Layways in the LayThisAway System

Layaway Management The Layaway Management button on the Dashboard allows you to view, manage and report on all of your Layaways for all of your Stores. You may also use this to record payments made by your Consumers. Clicking the Layaway Management button will display the Layaway Management page… (Note that the Store’s Dashboard contains only the top 4 buttons)

Layaway Management The grid contains a listing of all of your layaways. You will use a number of grids such as this on the LayThisAway website. Layaway Management Click the Select button on any row to view the information on the selected Layaway. The grid will close and a new panel will open as shown on the next slide…

Layaway Management In this example we clicked the Select button next to Lois Lane. The page shows three tabs that contain information and functions for managing your Layaways. You may click either of the black Show Layaway Grid buttons to return to the Layaway grid.

Layaway Information Tab You can view information on the Customer by clicking on the button to the right of the Customer Name field. This will display a popup window that displays the Customer’s contact information…

Layaway Information Tab You can view the Layaway Contract (Agreement) for this Layaway by clicking on the button to the right of the Layaway Contract field. This will display a popup window that displays the contact and allows you to view, print, or download a copy of the contract… Note that you must have Adobe Reader to view Layaway Contracts.

Layaway Information Tab The right panel of the Layaway Information Tab displays a listing of the items that have been placed on Layaway and a Payment Calendar showing the payment due dates.

Layaway Payment History Tab The Layaway Payment History Tab displays a grid showing all of the payments that have been made to date on the Layaway, including the Down Payment made when the Layaway was first created.

Enter a New Layaway Payment Tab Click the Save Payment button to record the Layaway payment in the LTA system. When a customer makes a payment at your store, be sure to enter it into the LTA system! Otherwise, the customer will get a late payment notice!

Layaway Management Summary The Layaway Management page is designed to allow you to access the information on any Layaway and to record a Layaway Payment with just a few clicks of the mouse. The Report Center button on your Merchant Dashboard provides detailed reports on all of your Layaways that can be viewed, printed, or downloaded.
