3. يا رب... أنا خايف من الصليب...!! Oh my Lord … I am so scared of carrying my cross !!!

4. صحيح انت وعدت... كله للخير... You have truly promised… that all is for our good… لكن اراك تتقدم للعذاب باختيارك...!!! But I see You going into the road of suffering with Your own choice …!!!

5. بل و تسمح لأغلي أولادك بعذاب أنا لا أحتمله... ثم تعود و تؤكد... لا تخافوا... كله خير!!! Moreover, You allow that Your dearest children would suffer more than what I can bear Then You go back and assure us … do not be frightened … all is for your good!!!

6. يا رب... الظلمة تزداد... و الظلم يسود... و الحق يهرب كأنه مذنب... Oh my Lord … darkness is increasing more and more …. and unfairness pervades … and fairness escapes as if it’s guilty و أنت كثيراً ما تقف صامتاً... and You my Lord, You keep silent a lot

7. يا رب... يا إله المظلومين... أنا خايف يكون علىَّ الدور... و انا لست قوياً. Oh my Lord … The Lord of the oppressed … I am scared that it might be my turn …. for I am not strong

8. يا ابنى الغالى... ماتخافش... My precious son …. Do not be scared لو لم تحتمل لن اسمح لك بشئ... If you would not bear, I will not allow that you pass through anything ….

9. And if I did allow it …. You might first complain, but you will find out at the end that it was bearable. نيري هين و حملي خفيف (مت 11 : 30) "For My yoke [is] easy and My burden is light" (Mat 11 : 30) و لو سمحت لك بتجربة... قد تشكو منها أولاً، و لكنك ستجدها محتملة في النهاية.

10. لكن يا ابنى.... الصليب قوة... ماتخافش منه... But My son … carrying the cross is power … so do not be scared from it

11. ماتبصش علي الوجع و العرق و الدم و الدموع بص يا حبيبي علي القيامة و الفرح و الانتصار و الابدية Do not look at the pain, the swetting, the blood and the tears My son, look at the resurrection, the joy, the victory and the eternal life

12. الشر ينهزم و الشيطان يهرب و النور يظهر و الحق يرجع... Evil gets defeated and satan runs away and the light comes out and truthfulness comes back … الصليب قوة... صدقنى... Carrying the cross is power believe me كل ده بالصليب... All this happens through the cross

13. يا ابنى امسك صليبك و ماتخفش هتلاقيه احلى هدية في حياتك و ساعتها هاتفضل تشكرنى الى الآبد. My son, hold on to your cross and do not be afraid You will discover that it is your life’s gift And at that time, you will keep thanking me for it for ever.

14. صدقنى... الصليب قوة... مش هاتشوفها غير لما تشيله. Believe me.. The cross is power which you will not see except when you carry it. Father Daoud Lamie
