Job description and why I would like to be in the NAVY. I would like to be in the Navy because I have family in the Navy and it is an honorable job. There is many things you can do in the Navy anything from dental all the way to a corpsman who can be found in combat. The Navy is the water force of the U.S armed forces. However there are multiple jobs in the Navy that involve being on land.

Values of the Navy. The values of the Navy are being an extremely caring person, a person willing to sacrifice their life in order to keep their people back home safe, a determined person and anybody who needs to mature or just needs to get on track because you can go to school for free while in the Navy.

Tasks in the Navy. The tasks you do in the navy greatly depend on your job. Jobs in the Navy range you can get into medical where you take care of those who are sick on base or you can be a corpsman who fights until someone is injured and then they take care of them and transport them to a transport helicopter.

Dealing with people and data. If I were to join the Navy I would have to deal with all kinds of people anywhere from higher ranking officers to recruits. Dealing with these people is not always easy but you must respect them and not talk back even if you are being yelled at by a drill sergeant at boot camp but you have to have the strength to not talk back. Depending on the job you must also be able to handle data at times.

Work environment. The work environment in the Navy can be a difficult place at times because you must realize who you are around because you must act with more respect around higher ranking people. You can work anywhere from an office to a battle field.

Work hours in the Navy. Hours of work vary depending on the job if you are in an office you may have a normal 9-5 however if you are on the battlefield it may require 24/7 work at times defending your base or staying up on watch duty.

Aptitudes and abilities in the Navy. Aptitudes and abilities in the Navy, in the Navy you must be physically fit you must be able to respect others around you, you must be determined and you must have teamwork and be able to work with those around you in order to succeed.

Education and training in the Navy. Education and training in the Navy, in the Navy you must have a high school diploma and you may choose to take college courses when you are in for free. Some training includes boot camp, if you are going in to a particular field it may require extra training as well.

Salary and benefits in the Navy. An average salary in the Navy ranges anywhere from $30,000 to $50,000 a year depending where you are because if you are in war you get hazardous duty pay or if you are out of the country you get extra money as well. You also get free dental, vision and health insurance while you are in.

Career outlook and international outlook. I don’t think this job will ever fade out because you always need a military. Whether it is to protect our borders or go to battle we will always need them. The Navy is a global force you can find people that are in the U.S Navy all over the world. Obviously other countries have a Navy as well.

Lifestyle and Location. I think if I were to have this job I would live an average lifestyle where I am middle class. I want to be able to live comfortably not check to check and be able to have some fun when I want as well. This job will be around for many years to come. Location in the Navy. In the Navy your location varies greatly, you can be anywhere from overseas to a base in your hometown in depends on your job and where the Navy wants you.

Career cluster the Navy belongs to. The career cluster the Navy would fall under would be government and public administration. Because the Navy is a part of the government

Description. The NFL, The NFL is the National Football League, Obviously in the NFL you play football but it’s not just that simple to be in the NFL you must be an elite athlete. This requires extreme training dedication. In the NFL you must be a certain weight or you can be fined for every pound under or over weight you are. The NFL is a very serious job.

Why I want to do it. I would like to be in the NFL for many reasons. The main reason is that I LOVE football. The other reason I would like to play in the NFL is because I like to push myself to my limits to see what I am capable of.

Values of the job. The values that will help you be an NFL player may include being physically tough, being determined, you must be able to persevere, you must be mentally tough and you must be smart.

Tasks of an NFL player. Tasks of an NFL player, a NFL player must train for months at a time he must be able to stay a certain weight; an NFL player must be able to do whatever task his coach provides him with no matter how tall.

Working with people and data. NFL players must work with other people all the time. NFL players must work with trainers and coaches as well. NFL must work as a team, without working as a team in the NFL it is nearly impossible.

Location. NFL players work in a few different types of areas. The different types of areas. In the NFL you must work in the gym at times you must work on a practice field which can be either outside or in. NFL players also must also move from state to state during the season because they have to play different teams across the country

Working hours. NFL players have a different schedule than most. NFL players schedules depend greatly on the coaching staff and when they want things done. For example if a coach wants to have a team meeting at 5:00 in the morning that’s his choice, players are also required to go to the gym daily.

Aptitudes and abilities. NFL players have a multitude of abilities some of these abilities most other people are not capable of. NFL players do a variety of different, difficult physical tasks however NFL players must be smart at the same time to be able to remember plays and assignments. They also must be very determined.

Education and Training. To be in the NFL you must graduate from college and be drafted or go to a walk on and try out. NFL players go through very vigorous training. Like at the combine NFL players are put to the test.

Salary and Job outlook/international outlook. An NFL player’s lowest salary is about $400,000 a year for 2014. I think the NFL will always be a job in America. I think this because the NFL is a multibillion dollar industry so the money will always keep it alive because people are always going to want entertainment. I do not think the NFL will spread overseas, I believe this because football is mainly played in America.

Lifestyle. Lifestyle With the NFL being my job I would be able to live anywhere I wanted in a big house with fancy things and a bunch of toys. Of course it would be nice and I would have some of those things but I would try not to be selfish and donate some of it to the needy.

Location. Location if I were to be in the NFL I would have 2 houses one in the area my team is at and one near this area in Michigan because I love my family and friends and would definitely want to be around them as often as possible.

Career cluster. I think the NFL would definitely fall under the physical performance career cluster.
