8 MACHON KAPLAN MACHON KAPLAN SUMMER INTERN Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism Summer 2012, Washington, D.C. Six-week summer internship program in Washington DC with the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism involving analysis of the Jewish and secular sides of politics and today’s most pressing issues. Met with leaders of political organizations such as the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People and the Anti Defamation League in order to gain perspective on issues particular to their groups. Lived in George Washington University Housing with other Jewish interns and participated in/ lead religious services around the District. 7

9 ADMINISTRATIVE OPERATIONS INTERN National Low Income Housing Coalition Summer 2012, Washington, D.C. Worked with the Vice President of Operations on designated projects regarding the organization’s state partners, financial analysis and policy research. Collaborated with other interns and staff to accomplish project goals and daily tasks. 8

10 TZEDAKAH PROGRAMMING INTERN Hillel at Arizona State University Spring 2013 Created, planned and executed social action events and programming for the ASU Hillel student body. Planned and led Friday Night Shabbat religious services with other student leaders. Assisted in general programming. Assisted with religious and cultural programming. Assisted in planning and outreach for annual Mini Golf Organ Donor Event. 9

11 FUNDRAISING/ CAMPAIGN FINANCE INTERN Kyrsten Sinema for Congress Summer 2013 – Present Assisted the staff with carrying out fundraisers for the Congresswoman. Created donor profiles on NGP VAN to be utilized in creating call sheets for the Congresswoman. Worked with Financial Director to conduct donor research. Worked with Finance Assistant to discover potential donors. 10
