2. Context The Tri-borough has funded LCAS for two years We have also accessed funding from the Skills Academy and Skills for Care for RM networks Tri-borough total funding of LCAS is no longer possible

3. Future Context In order to continue supporting the Tri-borough and you (its Providers and service users) LCAS needs to achieve funding of approximately £60k per year The Tri-borough has suggested it will “match fund” LCAS next year This leaves a gap, some of which will come from commercial partners and sponsorship, but some has to come from members

4. What will you get for your money? Events x four per year Including an annual Conference with keynote national speakers Advice & Guidance from LCAS Access to Sponsors We are also investigating webinars and workshops to contribute to your CPD

5. What happens now? Other organisations like LCAS charge a membership fee to part fund their activities We are seeking Sponsorship funding from commercial organisations A number of options have been considered by the LCAS Board and the Steering group Two options have been chosen for your consideration

6. Options Option One An annual fee of £220, discounted in year one to £180 which includes one place at each of 3 events and the Spring Conference, further event places at £25. With access to the commercial partners Option Two Payment by attendance at events, at £55 per person per event

7. We need to match the funding that the local authorities are prepared to offer to keep LCAS alive
