What is Google Docs? A free web based processor with many collaborative features While there are 6 document variations, our tutorial focuses on the word processor capability (the first and finest in the “Create New” drop down) Back to Categories Click on the image above to see the video

Create a Gmail Account Click on the image above to sign-up for a Gmail account. Back to Categories - A Gmail account is needed to create and edit a Google Doc. - Gmail accounts are free.

Change the Title Generate a title for your Google Doc with one click and change the title with another click Google Docs will automatically save your title changes Click on the image above to see the video Back to Categories

Sharing Sharing your Google Doc is the foundation of multi-user collaboration Invite Gmail account users to your Google Doc so they can view and edit your document Feel free to send the document to a non Gmail account user, but take note that they will (1) receive the document as an attachment and (2) they will not be able to participate in any real-time functions Click on the image above to see the video Back to Categories
