What is Nutrition? Nutrition: “the process of providing or obtaining the food necessary for health and growth.”

Why is it important to eat healthy? Your body needs healthy fuel to operate just like a car Eating healthy shapes the way you act during the day (ex. more energy) To prevent future diseases Obesity, Diabetes, etc.

Why it matters? As Americans, our society is very much overweight. We need to eat healthy and exercise in order to live long healthy lives.
