(and operations requirements) Requirements might be extracted from Data Challenge use  This is real use of grid software  Maybe we can learn from this

EGEE Kick-Off Meeting, JRA4 session, 20 th April 2004 - 6 Other forms of grid usage HEP field is (I would say) dominated by the above usage model  At least, replica management seems to be the major use of the networks However, other fields may not be:  Medical imaging?  Biology applications?  Video-conferencing  Earth Observation? – “end-to-end services with user involvement” Other use cases  Proving QoS (without interfering with it)
