2.  Pinhole photography is the process of taking a box – any box really and putting a hole at one end and some photographic paper at the other.  Any box shape will do. In fact, people have used refrigerators, cars, even whole rooms as the pinhole camera.  Possibly the most important aspect of pinhole photography is that it does not use a lens.

4.  Pinhole dynamics go way, way back. Arguably, one of the first to speak of pinhole technology, was Chinese philosopher Mo Ti, who recognized that objects will reflect light in all directions.  Aristotle was also said to have knowledge of pinhole systems.  Scientists and mathematicians were alleged to be avid users of pinhole technology for studying the sun and other solar imagery.

6.  Pinhole cameras can create absolutely stunning photographs. What the pictures are lacking in crystal clear clarity, they more than make up for in infinite depth of field.  There is no need to worry about focus and distortion as there is no lens present.
