11. Question (1) – invalid geometries according to validator  Some geometries are invalid according to Dutch INSPIRE validation ● Self intersections because of grid ● Have to explain why these geometries are valid 11

Question (2) – range and distribution distinction  Have to include both range and distribution features  INSPIRE data model does not contain a field to discriminate between the two types  How to include the distinction in the INSPIRE compliant GML? ● Create extension ● Harmonization needed 12
