2. Multi - Site Collaboration? Simply, these are systems that allow for teams to work together while not in the same location. The internet is fantastic for those wanting to work from home.

3. Concerns Why do we need this? With the use of the internet, there is a growing expansion around the world of companies. Keeping everyone on task is important for time critical work. Limiting disruptions, increasing “personal” space, and other factors are key.

4. How are we here now? Let’s think about this historically Yelling at each other across a room(aka meetings) Blackboards – Later Whiteboards Mail (Yes the Post office version!) Phones – Conference Calls Email (Implies computers) Central Servers Mobile devices Cloud services Robots?!

5. Focusing a bit Let’s make an example company in thought. Has survived through the test of time to be a multi national organization with in office and home employees. What systems would they potentially use?
