2. I`m Emma and I`m 11. Let`s go together and I`ll present you “PANAYOT VOLOV” Primary School in Varna, Bulgaria

3. That`s the building. I spend my time here from Monday till Friday, from 8:00am to 1:30pm.

4. Our school has 130 years` history. It is the oldest in Varna. Can you imagine that all of my family have studied at that school – my mum, my dad, my aunt. Even some of the teachers are the same.

5. That`s one of the school`s symbols – the bell.

6. The school year in our country begins on 15 th September and finishes on 31th May for the students 1st – 4 th grade. It`s a bit longer for the others, it is finishes to 15 th June.

7. And that is my class – 5 b

8. We usually have 6 lessons a day. One lesson lasts forty-five minutes. The breaks are 10 minutes and the looong break - thirty minutes. It`s time to have breakfast, a rest and a walk in the schoolyard.

9. Our programme is very interesting. We have: a week Bulgarian language - every day – 6 lessons a week and literature English language - 4 lessons a week Mathematics - every day – 5 lessons a week History - 2 lessons a week Geography - 2 lessons a week Science-Human and - 3 lessons a week Nature Physical Education - 4 lessons a week Music - 2 lessons a week Art - 2 lessons a week Inf. Technology - 1 lesson a week

10. The Human and the Nature - one of my favorite subjects It`s interesting to know more about the planets and the nature.

12. Every student from the 2nd to the 8 th grade has a school repot.

13. Wow…Look here. That is the class register. It`s in our Maths teacher`s hands. Here all the teachers write our marks, absences and notes about our discipline. The marks are from 2 up to 6. We have two terms during the school year and Christmas and Easter holidays.

16. Now we are at the school hall and are having a special lesson about Comenius life.

17. Our school has a statute of “Eco school” and the international “Green flag”

18. We have a good tradition to plant some trees every year in the yard. There are a lot of flowers and trees here and the nigh pine is my favorite.
