www.jst.umn.edu Autoclave Safety GENERAL PRECAUTIONS 1.Teflon liner should be visually inspected for cracks, pitting, rust, metal creep or excessive wear. 2.The Teflon liner should never be filled more than 66 percent (45 mL capacity). 3.Do not overheat the autoclave. The maximum temperature is 200 ℃.
