4 World Meteorological Organization PM Application PM using MS Project 2003 –Could task leaders create & maintain project files? –Reports could include latest copy of file. –Master file will just link to task files –Don’t need to be complex, Keys are links and timelines (i.e. Gantt Chart) Haven’t worried about resources, or actual work time Is there an easier alternative? i.e. twiki based

5 World Meteorological Organization What happens next Incorporate feedback from ICG-WIS (Sept – Oct 2007) Publish reviewed draft (Ver 0.5) on WIS web page Plan is presented to ECWG-WIGOS/WIS (Nov 2007?) Incorporate user requirements (App B) and feedback from ECWG. (Ver 0.6) Review & present to next ICG-WIS & CBS (May 2008?) (Ver 0.7 & 0.8) Remove draft label and publish as Ver. 1.0 Continue ongoing reviews
