SharePoint 2013 BI Features and Applications Service Applications: Excel Services – Allows for working with Excel workbooks within the browser. PowerPivot for SharePoint - Used for loading and processing PowerPivot and tabular data models. SQL Server Reporting Services (SharePoint Integrated) – Allows for SSRS Reports and includes features for Power View. PerformancePoint – Specific to SharePoint. Used for KPI’s, Dashboards, and custom reports.
