3. ~ The Mohawk Indians hunted deer, rabbits, and buffalo ~ They used bow and arrows, knives, and many other weapons ~ Boys were not allowed to hunt until they were old enough

4. ~The Mohawk Indians used snow dogs attached to sleds to hunt and travel in the winter Sled Dogs

5. Homes ~ The Mohawk Indians lived in Long houses ~ The long houses were made of wood and animal hide

6. Beliefs/ceremonies ~One ceremony they did was throwing tobacco on a fire and dancing around it on the first thunderstorm of the year. ~Another thing that they did was bowing down and talking to an animal after they killed it.

8. Farming ~ The Mohawk Indians farmed corn, beans, and squash ~ The women of the tribe were the ones who did the farming
