Integers are any numbers from a set. Integers are also negative and positive numbers. Positive integers are greater than zero. They can be written with or without a plus sign Negative are integers less than zero. They are written with a minus sign. Zero is nether a positive or a negative. Integers are any numbers from a set. Integers are also negative and positive numbers. Positive integers are greater than zero. They can be written with or without a plus sign Negative are integers less than zero. They are written with a minus sign. Zero is nether a positive or a negative.

Multiplication is the same as repeated addition. When you multiply with a negative and a positive the sign is different. The product of two positive integers is positive You can use a pattern to find the product of two negative integers. Negative * positive = negative Negative * negative = positive ex. (2)(-3)= -6 Multiplication is the same as repeated addition. When you multiply with a negative and a positive the sign is different. The product of two positive integers is positive You can use a pattern to find the product of two negative integers. Negative * positive = negative Negative * negative = positive ex. (2)(-3)= -6

When finding the quotient of two integers you can use related multiplication sentence. Division of Integers is similar to division of whole numbers (both positive) except the sign of the quotient needs to be determined.

division multiplication -35 / -1 -117 / -3 Lets try and solve these problems. then you will get a quiz to see what you know. Then when you are done I want you to tell me the difference between dividing and multiplying integers and don’t worry we are almost done.

Help with division 35/-1 Step 1.how many times can 1 go into 3? Step2.so you carry the 3 and subtract and you get zero. Step 3. then you do the same with the 5. -117/-3 Step 1. you line up 117 and 3. then you multiply. Step 2.You start from the back. 7(3) is 21.so you leave the 1 and carry the 2. Step 3. 1(3) is 3 plus 2 is 5. then 1(3) is 3 so you get 3. then your answer is 351. I hope you were paying attention because now you have a quiz.there is no help on this. GOOD LUCK

QUIZ TIME: INTEGERS DIRECTIONS: DIVIDE THE TWO INTEGERS AND DECIDE IF IT IS A NEGATIVE AND A POSITIVE. 1. 45/-2 a.22 b.-22 c.33 d.45

Question #2 Divide the two integers 188/2 A.94 B.-94 C.87 D.45

QUESTION # 3 128/4 A.-32 B.32 C.48 D.12 CONGRADULATIONS you have finished the quiz.
