Student Spotlight Reading: We are reading Paul Revere, a poem, and practicing new vocab words. We also took a Discovery assessment. Math: This week we took a Discovery test and have finished up learning about division. Social Studies: This week we took the discovery test and learned about European explorers such as Christopher Columbus. Language Arts: This week we are typing and publishing our narratives until they are our most outstanding! Science: This week we continued learning about light and made sun dials. The kiddos did a great job and gave 100% effort. We use these assessments to determine areas of growth and to plan instruction! HELP! We are almost out of wooden pencils. I know a busy holiday season is approaching but we would greatly appreciate any pencil donations!
