NPF 2016 National Postal Forum Mission Statement “To assist the USPS in building relationships with and educating mailers in the most effective and efficient use of the products and services offered by the USPS.” 2

NPF 2016 Background Held since 1968 is the nation’s preeminent mailing industry meeting run by a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit educational corporation called the National Postal Forum. An annual conference that brings together the Postal Service and its major customers; corporations, state and local governments and nonprofit groups — for lively discussions on the use of mail to grow their business and generate revenue. Participants learn about the latest marketing innovations and trends in the mailing industry. In 2015 more than 4,000 large and small business customers attended representing companies that spent more than $22 billion in revenue -— nearly a third of total revenue for the USPS. With an exhibit hall featuring the largest comprehensive gathering of suppliers to the Postal Service and the businesses involved in mail. 3

NPF 2016 Growing Revenue through Education, Innovation and Collaboration To grow revenue by educating customers about its products and services as a strong marketing channel Equipping industry leaders, who serve as an extended sales force for the USPS, with the latest innovations to help them market the mail to large and small businesses. Senior managers of the Postal Service meet with industry customers to resolve mailer’s issues This once-a-year event presents a unique opportunity for existing and prospective customers to meet and interact with senior level USPS executives while also attending educational workshops conducted by industry and Postal Service mailing experts. 4

NPF 2016 Providing Workshops for Continuing Education Opportunities Led by Postal Service executives and Industry leaders, many companies across the country send employees to the NPF as part of their official continuing education programs. NPF workshops are tailored to its diverse audience of mail creators, preparers, mail room managers, and mailing industry professionals and cover a wide range of topics from ways to utilize mail to boost business and generate revenue to how to design and prepare mail for delivery. Attendees can earn a USPS Professional Certification that is recognized by many corporations as continuing education credit. 5

NPF 2016 Hotel Information Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center 12 Room Rates: Atrium Room - Room with Atrium view and balcony. $269/Night Single/Double - Single/Double Standard Guest Room. $219/Night An additional $15 per night resort fee will be charged for your stay. This fee includes Wifi in guest rooms, atriums, restaurants and lobbies; Online access to The Wall Street Journal; Bottled Water (2 per day); Access to the Fitness Center at Relache, the Spa at Gaylord Opryland. In order to receive these room rates, reservations must be made through the National Postal Forum.
