Challenger NIST Traceable Air flow Calibrator
2
Features Dry air flow calibrator No moving parts NIST Traceable Actual & Standard Conditions 1 LPM to 30 LPM High Accuracy
3
Theory The heart of the Challenger is a venturi. The pressure drop across the venturi produces a signal that is proportional to flow rate.
4
The Venturi Pressure taps are located in the venturi throat and upstream of the venturi.
5
Deluxe Kit with Two Venturis 1 – 6 LPM Venturi 6-30 LPM Venturi
6
Operation Press power switch on Allow time for internal calibration Flow rate (QA & QS) will display zeros or “Under” Attach to flow source Air flow reading is real time
7
Display Display BP = Barometric Pressure in mm mercury and millibars Ta = Actual Temperature in °C Qa = Actual flow rate in LPM Qs = Standard flow rate at 25°C and 760 mm mercury Batt = Battery life remaining
8
Advantages Dry Calibrator: No soap solution No Moving Parts Fast: Works in minutes Accurate: +/- 0.75 % Portable and light weight NIST Traceable with certificate
