Connections According to the new proposed Local Wellness Policy rule, SFAs must “review and consider” evidence- based strategies. Utilizing any of the Smarter Lunchrooms strategies in your cafeteria means you are using an evidence- based strategy!

Smarter Lunchrooms Score Card * handout Score card is designed to give you a baseline score on how well your cafeteria is designed based upon the Smarter Lunchroom Strategies. Self-Assessment Categories -Focusing on Fruit -Promoting Vegetables and Salads -Moving More White Milk -Entrée of the Day -Increasing Sales of Reimbursable Meals -Creating School Synergies If you do not believe that your school reflects the statement choice 100%- do not mark. Assessment not designed to score 100%
