1 The Day After OCA Fire 06/05/04 An account by Dave Radosevich

2 OCA Fire Notes: Fire Started around 5:00pm Saturday 06/05/04 from a stuck vehicle. Approximately 7 OCA acres burned mainly north west area. NO major structures burned or damaged. All private observatories and out buildings sustained NO damage. Minor damage to electrical in the “Lower Pads” and “Mars Hill” areas. “Cold Trails” cut by firemen run thru out all effected areas. Fire break cut by large tractor runs from Bonny Ln and the Football field. Fire Retardant known as “Foss Check” is evident in the LP and Jupiter Ridge. Off OCA: Neighbors to the West and North received heavy burns including all natural vegetation on our site. No property loss except the old wooden shack north of UPYC. Our neighbor to the east was not burned. Fire Started around 5:00pm Saturday 06/05/04 from a stuck vehicle. Approximately 7 OCA acres burned mainly north west area.
