2.  Edward Weston was born in March of 1886, in Highland Park, Illinois.  Edward Weston spent most of his childhood in Chicago where he went to school at Oakland Grammar School.  Edward Weston began photographing at the age of 16 after getting a Bull’s Eye #2 camera from his dad.  Edward Weston first photos were of the parks of Chicago.

9.  Edward Weston later wrote “The camera should be used for a recording of life, for rendering the very substance and quintessence of the thing itself, whether it be polished steel or palpitating “.  Edward Weston was later diagnosed with Parkinson disease which made it harder to use the camera equipment.
