1. Universal Studios- Hollywood Festival Somerset-Losee Choir

2. Purpose To give students the inspiration to improve their voices and the opportunity to perform at a national music festival.

3. Who, When and Where? Students are invited if: ▪They are members of the MS or HS/MS Choir ▪They do not have a conflict with the UNLV science fair When and Where ▪Friday, April 1- Saturday, April 2, 2016 ▪2 days/1 night ▪Hollywood, California

4. What’s included? ▪Transportation (Charter Bus) ▪Hotel (1 Night) – 4 students per room – 2 adults per room  Music Festival ▪Two days in Universal Studios with meal vouchers each day ▪Awards Ceremony at Universal Studios

5. General Itinerary Friday, April 1, 2016 5am – Depart from Losee (Bring your own breakfast) 8am – Stop in Barstow 11am – Arrive at Universal (*Bring sack lunch) 6pm – Dinner at Universal (cost included) 9pm –Depart for hotel 10pm –Check in, Bed time

6. General Itinerary Saturday April 2, 2016 7am – Breakfast 9am – Music Festival *Lunch on your own 1pm Universal 6pm – Dinner at Universal(cost included) 10pm – Depart for home 3am (10/13) – Arrive at Somerset Losee

7. Chaperones 3-5 will be chosen by a lottery system.

8. Chaperone Responsibilities ▪Supervise students that are assigned to you. ▪Check in with assigned group throughout the day. ▪Help with meal time coordination. ▪Supervise students in hotel ▪Take care of any individual needs or concerns.

9. Money ▪$400 Total ▪Payment schedule: – December 15 st, 2015 $150 – January 25 th, 2016$250

10. Fundraising We have a great fundraising opportunity where students would be able to keep about 93% of the sales. Please let me know if you would be interested in supervising this.
