5. How will students log-in*? Go to google.com Username: firstname.lastnameXXX@student.mckinneyisd.net firstname.lastnameXXX@student.mckinneyisd.net (XXX = last three digits of student ID number) Password: Eight Digit Birthdate (For every grade level)

6. McKinney ISD Policies apply  Your email and Drive will be monitored by MISD teachers and staff  Any inappropriate emails, postings, documents or pictures will result in your losing your computer privileges  You signed an Acceptable Use Agreement at the first of the year, stating you will follow the rules. Be a responsible computer user.

7. Google Docs You can create using Google Documents, Presentation, Spreadsheet, Forms, Or Drawing. You may also upload other types of documents from other programs into Drive.

8. How do I save to Google Drive? Choose Google Drive from your “dot” menu

9. To upload documents from your computer into Google Drive:  Simply click on the Upload Button  Choose File from your computer, click Open

10. To Share a File with others Right Click on document— Choose “Share”

11. Fill in the email address of the person to share with, then choose the rights: edit or view only or comment

12. Use Google Apps or Microsoft Office programs to create documents  All google docs and MS Office docs can be shared and opened in Google Drive  Other program files may or may not be able to be opened in Drive, so check before you use them!  Pictures and videos can be stored in Drive
