3 Cyberbullying is the use of any electronic communication device to convey a message in any form (text, image, audio, or video) that defames, intimidates, harasses, or is otherwise intended to harm, insult, or humiliate another in a deliberate, repeated, or hostile and unwanted manner under a person’s true or false identity.

5 Real World or Device Sending a mean text message. Yelling at people and treating them with disrespect.

6 Real World or Device Telling something somebody told you in private to others. Posting a secret someone told you on a web page.

7 Real World or Device Excluding somebody from your group when you are no longer friends. Blocking somebody from social networking spaces you and others in your group use.

8 Real World or Device Sending constant mean text messages and making phone calls to bully someone. Stalking somebody by following them around all day and insulting them.

9 In addition, any communication of this form that disrupts or prevents a safe and positive educational or working environment may also be considered Cyberbullying.

10 Students are encouraged to report an incident immediately to a teacher or principal. Students who make a report are requested to preserve evidence of Cyberbullying. For example, a student may save or bring a copy of an email, text message, picture or other electronic transmission that the student believes was intended to harm, insult, or humiliate.

11 Enid Public Schools may revoke the privilege of a board member, students, staff, or patrons, who use district equipment or electronic communication system to engage in Cyberbullying.
