EARTH’S SURFACE IS COVERED IN LANDFORMS. SUCH AS RIVERS, OCEANS, MOUNTAINS, AND VALLEYS. THERE ARE LOTS MORE TOO! THE MOON HAS A SURFACE THAT IS COVERED IN ROCKS, CRATERS, DUST, AND MOUTAINS. THE SUN’S SURFACE IS MADE OF GAS, BUT STILL HAS SUNSPOTS, SOLAR FLARE, AND SOLAR WIND.

MOON: THE MOON HAS 6 TIMES LESS GRAVITY THAN THE EARTH. MOON: THE MOON HAS 6 TIMES LESS GRAVITY THAN THE EARTH. SUN: THE SUN HAS 27 TIMES MORE GRAVITY THAN THE EARTH. EARTH: THE EARTH HAS 6 TIMES MORE GRAVITY THAN THE MOON, WHICH IS 1.6g

THE EARTH HAS AN ATMOSPHERE. THIS ATMOSPHERE CAUSES RAIN, HURRICANES,TORNADOES, AND LOTS MORE. THE SUN HAS AN ATMOSPHERE TOO.THE SUN’S ATMOSPHERE CAUSES SUN SPOTS, SOLAR FLARES, SOLAR WIND, AND MORE. THE MOON HAS NO OR CLOSE TO NO ATMOSPHERE AT ALL. THIS CAUSES EXTREME TEMPERATURES AND NO RUNNING WATER.
6
THE EARTH HAS OVER 326 MILLION, TRILLION GALLONS OF WATER. THE SUN HAS NO WATER AT ALL BECAUSE IT IS SO HOT THE IT WOULD EVAPORATE ALL OF THE WATER IN SECONDS. THE MOON HAS A MILLION GALLONS OF FROZEN WATER.
7
IT TAKES THE MOON ABOUT 27 HOURS FOR THE MOON TO ROTATE ON ITS AXIS, AND 29.5 DAYS TO REVOLVE AROUND EARTH. IT TAKES THE EARTH 24 HOURS TO ROTATE ON ITS AXIS, AND ABOUT 365 TO REVOLVE AROUND THE SUN IT TAKES THE SUN 27 DAYS TO ROTATE ON ITS AXIS, BUT IT DOES NOT REVOLVE AROUND OTHER PLANETS.
8
EARTH IS THE ONLY PLANET THAT CAN SUSTAIN LIFE. EARTH IS THE LARGEST OF THE TERRESTRIAL PLANETS. THE EARTH WAS FORMED ABOUT 4.54 BILLION YEARS AGO.
9
THE SUN IS ALSO CALLED SOL, AND THAT IS WHERE WE GET THE WORD SOLAR. 1.3 MILLION EARTHS COULD FIT INSIDE THE SUN. THE SUN TRAVELS AT 220 KM PER SECOND.
10
THE MOON CAUSES HIGH AND LOW TIDES. THE MOON IS MADE OF ROCK AND CRATERS. THE MOON IS THE CLOSEST OBJECT TO THE EARTH.
