The Town Has to Decide Reasons for building a McDonald’s: 1. It will provide food that is of high quality, safe and healthy. 2. It means more work for our area that needs jobs badly. They make a promise to the people that work for them. They say, “We value you, your growing skills and your help to the company. 3. They will be concerned about providing parking for the cars in our main street.

The Town Has to Decide Reasons against building a McDonald’s: 1. The food served in it contains high levels of fat, sugar and salt. 2.There are problems with too many cars bringing people to buy food in McDonald’s: (1). They will produce petrol fumes. (2). They slow down the traffic. 3. There are problems with all the food containers. 4. They don’t allow employees to join a Union to speak up for them.

Find out the sentences with similar meaning as the following ones in the passage: 1.It is certain that it will provide more work for our area where jobs are in great need. 2.Many of our young people will be very very happy to work for it. 3. In America, McDonald’s does not allow Unions to operate in its restaurants and these are people who speak up for the workers. 9. If,as they say, the workers are happy with them why should they fear some workers joining a Union?
