The American Bittern's habitat is marshes and grassy lakeshores. These habitat allow for perfect camouflage. 24-34 inches long Whisker marks all along body

American Bittern Eats mostly fish, frogs, insects and sometimes even snakes Nests are a bed of grasses usually at water level

Habitat: marshes, rivers, lakes and shores 50-54 inches long Blue-grey with white head and a black stripes on either side.

Great Blue Heron Nests are made of sticks and can be up to 100 feet above water level. Sometimes even on the sides of cliffs
