October 2014 Regional Activities Update Russian National Research Institute for Public Health has been re-designated as the WHO Collaborating Centre for the Family of International Classifications in Russia. Federal Research Institute for Health Organization and Informatics of Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation (FRIHOI of MoH of the RF), Department of Health Statistics and Analysis has been designated as the WHO Collaborating Centre on Health Statistics and Analysis

October 2014 Regional Activities Updates Notable improvements in data availability: –Cause of death data now available for all countries in the WHO European Region –Turkey: nationally representative cause of death data available for 2009-2011, ca. 17% of total deaths still not certified –Bosnia and Herzegovina: cause of death data for 2010 submitted for the first time after 1991 –Serbia: Hospital discharge data submitted for the fist time for year 2012
