14  Let’s take a few mins to make sure we are all comfortable with what we are doing for Sunday’s blog To close this session, do the following:  Re-read your claim and evidence  Re-read the feedback you got from your cohort  What’s your plan to revise your claim and evidence? You have until Sunday night to be ready CLAIM DEVELOPMENT WRAP UP

15 Social and political revolutions are meant to remove cancerous elements in the given problematic society. Real change occurs when not only the leaders of government are democratically elected by the will of the people, but when those elements that were present as causes of the revolution have been systematically removed. The success of the Tahrir Revolutionaries cannot be measured under traditional notions of victorious political struggles; old government toppled, new government in power. However, the success of the movement lies in the fact that people’s conscience towards social change has forever changed the dynamic between governed and leaders. The ability to dialogue between the varying factions in Egypt has opened new possibilities to resolve future disagreements. Finally, the people’s ability to remove any forced authority whether through elections or mass protest, now has the capacity to demonstrate the true will of the people. MY SAMPLE CLAIM STATEMENT
