1 Report from the Working group Vegetation and Plant material: E-learning A part of the members are critical of e-learning No experienes Vegetation and plantmaterial are mainly topics for outside (landscape, park, garden etc) Maybe usefule for part time students and some aspects of planting design. (databases, links, etc) E-learing becomes an important component of future landscape architecture education Therefore the Working group Vegetation and Plant material support the efforts of the e-learning working group to develop an e-learing website.

2 To gain experience on e-learning the Working group Vegetation and Plant material have to do experiments and to look for a common topic. During lunch a topic was found Frederico Meireles (Portugal), Paolo Semenzato (Italy) and Arie Koster (& Jeroen de Vries?)(The Netherlands) are interested in aspects of spontanious urban woodland development (species, biodiversity, use, adventages, disadventages, magement) They would like to make an e-learning lecture on this topic and from different points of view. They invite participants of other working groups too. The working group welcomes feedback from the e- learning working group

3 Questions to le Notre Is there a part (a lecture area) on the website that provides facilities to make a cooperatief lecture.(In that case the lecture can be permanent on the website and can be used by all the members of le notre Wat kind of other support is possible
