1 The Lordship of Christ Philippians chapter 2 verses 5 – 11 ‘Jesus is Lord (kyrios)’ Master/Respected Leader/Son of God In the New Testament Jesus is declared Lord of: the whole earth the heavens and the earth all spiritual forces – angelic & demonic the living and the dead The Lord of everything BEYOND seeks to be the Lord of everything WITHIN

2 Romans chapter 10 verses 9 & 10 “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. As the Scriptures say, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.” Jesus said, “Not everyone who calls out to me ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter.” (Matthew 7 v21)
