Occupying the Ballot vs. Active Candidacy Even if GPTX candidates do not intend to run an active campaign, they are still expected to respond to media & party inquiries so that GPTX can maintain credible electoral offerings.

Candidate Guide Info Should Include Campaign minimums: – Campaign Manager – Treasurer Filing & Reporting Requirements: – Position requirements (Secretary of State or County Clerk) – Initial filing info – Deadlines – Campaign finance filing needs Forum & Outreach Opportunities (w/contact info if possible): – League of Women Voters
